Dr. Zerafa Simler is a Higher Specialist Trainee in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care, and Pain Medicine. She holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Education from the University of Edinburgh, reflecting her strong interest in advancing clinical education. She has been actively involved in departmental initiatives, notably serving as the Trainee Representative for the Anaesthetic Department from 2023 to 2024. She is also deeply engaged in research activities and has contributed to various projects within her specialty. Currently, she is undertaking her fourth year of anaesthetic training in the United Kingdom. Recently, she was elected as the National Trainee Ambassador for Malta with the European Society of Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care (ESAIC), further underscoring her commitment to both local and international professional development.
