Dr Maureen Bezzina Sultana is a consultant within the Department of Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and Chronic Pain Medicine at Gozo General Hospital. She graduated from the University of Malta in 2010 and obtained her European Diploma in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care in 2017.  

Dr Bezzina Sultana is an honorary senior lecturer and module lead for Anaesthesia at the MBBS programme at Queen Mary University London, Malta Campus. Furthermore, she is a European Resuscitation Council instructor and teaches ALS, ILS, EPALS and GIC courses. She is the chairperson of the Resuscitation Committee at Gozo General Hospital and currently also serves as the executive secretary within the Malta Resuscitation Council.
