Mr Justin Deguara has eighteen years’ experience as an anaesthetic nurse working at operating theatres, Mater Dei Hospital. He graduated with a Degree in Nursing BSc. (Hons) in 2006, and a Master of Science in Nursing with the University of Malta in 2020. His professional interests are anaesthesia care and patient safety initiatives. Currently, Justin holds the position of Anaesthesia Practice Nurse, with the main roles of coordinating anaesthesia related training courses and providing evidence-based guidance in anaesthesia practices. During his free time Justin loves to enjoy the outdoors, with a passion for fishing. His preferred motto is “Give a man a fish and feed him for a day, teach him how to fish and feed him for a lifetime”.
